Edwards Systems Technologies Fire Works system Install/Inspection All work in this contract will take place the VA medical center 2495 Shreveport hwy. Pineville, La. 71360 INSTALLATION OF ANY AND ALL FIRE ALARM DETECTION DEVICES SHALL BE INSTALLED AND PROGRAMMED BY A CONTRACTOR WHICH MAINTAINS A CURRENT EDWARDS SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGIES EST-3 DEALER AUTHORIZATION, CURRENT EDWARDS SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGIES FIREWORKS NETWORK CERTIFICATION, AS WELL AS A CURRENT UL LABORATORIES® ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION. DEVICE PROGRAMMING SHALL INCORPORATE ESTABLISHED VISUAL DISPLAY AND AUDIO VERBAGE LABELLING AND MESSAGING WHICH INCLUDE BUILDING NUMBER, FLOOR NUMBER, AND ZONE IDENTIFIER. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE INFORMATION WHICH VERIFIES THE PAST PERFORMANCE IN THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF NO LESS THAN THREE (3) PREVIOUS EST-3/ EST-3 NETWORKS INSTALLATIONS. Contractor must be a certified Fire Works fire alarm repair company. Programing of the system and each device shall be completed by the contractor at the time each building is completed or at a time that is convenient but will not disrupt service or send trouble signals at the time the contractor has completed work for the day. All signals must give the correct location and building location Contractor is reasonable to test every device that is installed and test must be verified by the VA fire department. All work must carry a 1-year parts and labor warranty. All batteries must be replaced in the entire system with the same size or bigger batteries of the current system. This includes but not limited to panels, sub panel boxes and power supplies. All panels must have a new inspection tag indicating no deficiency in the panel and the proper year of the inspection. Upon completion all audio voice messages must announce correctly for the building that has the emergency and the correct message for the outline buildings. Contractor will be required to supply all parts such as but not limited to, smoke detectors, modules, pull stations and boards for panels. This is an all-inclusive contract to bring the system back to a normal or ready state. Complete 100% system testing of all devices. Testing will also include the AED cabinets that are tied into the fire alarm system. Each device must be listed on test sheet with item number and location and test results. Testing will include all buildings and all devices. All testing paperwork must meet NFPA and VA requirements. After devices must pass testing. The fire department will only be involved in testing to let contractor into spaces that the key issued to the contractor will not allow access. *TESTING WILL BE OF EVERY ITEM AND DEVICE TIED INTO THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, NO EXCEPTIONS Following devices must be added, program and tested.
