PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS), has a need for four (4) Registered Nurses (RNs), two (2) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), four (4) Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and four (4) Sitters. Contractor s personnel shall perform on-site nursing services for varying periods of time and in various areas of the Medical Centers and, based on their qualifications, may be required to work in areas of the highest need on the date of their scheduled shifts, specifically Med Surg, Specialty, and Geriatrics-CLC. The RNs (Med/Surg or Extended Care) will be required to have a current BLS Certification and One (1) year experience. The LPNs (Med/Surg or Extended Care) will be required to have a Current BLS Certification and Six (6) months of experience. The RNs (Specialty Care ICU/PACU/Cath Lab/Bronch, Emergency Department) will be required to have a Current ACLS Certification, Current BLS Certification, and one (1) year experience in Critical Care Nursing. The CNAs will be required to have a Current BLS Certification and three (3) years of experience. The Sitter will be required to have a current BLS Certification and three (3) years of experience Contractor s personnel shall be subject to the quality assurance standards established by the Joint Commission and shall perform in accordance with ethical, professional and technical standards of the healthcare industry consistent with VA policy, regulations, procedures and protocol. This acquisition is being procured as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses set aside utilizing FSS/GSA Supply Schedules, applicable NAICS code 561320 Temporary Help Services, size standard $27.5M.
