The Overton Brooks Veteran Affairs Medical Center Contracting Office is performing market research to ascertain whether there are potential sources and their business size classification (HUB-Zone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business, Women Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, or Veteran Owned Business) relative to NAICS Code 492110 Couriers and Express Delivery Services. Respondents are required to be registered and in good standing in The System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ The Medical Center is particularly interested in identifying Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)/Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) and their capability. NAICS code: 492110 and Size Standard is 1500 Employees. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status shall be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ Project requirements: To provide Courier Services for the Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care System (SLVHCS). A fully licensed courier company shall provide delivery between Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) located at 2400 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119 and nine VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). Locations are specified in the attached statement of work (SOW). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be published in the FedBizOpps. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide the services specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Include any certifications/qualifications current and past contract information that will support your capability statement. See the Statement of Work (SOW); (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, small, etc.,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information shall be provided electronically.
