Page 1 of 17 The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 16 is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) AND/OR Small Business (SB) sources capable of providing brand name or equal Omnicell i.v. Station Sterile Compounding Robot as detailed in the Statement of Work below for the Central Arkansas VA Health Care System, located in Little Rock, AR 72205. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR art 12 & 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339113. Any SDVOSB/VOSB/SB firm who wishes to identify their interests and capability to provide this service must provide interest information by notifying the Contract Administrator no later than 11:00 AM Central Standard Time, April 04, 2019. Such notification must include any documentation that includes proof of capability to distribute the equipment required. B.1 STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) Scope and Purpose The VA South Central Veterans Health Care Network (VISN 16) requires a Sterile Compounding Robot brand name or equal to Omnicell i.v.Station, installation, training and maintenance/support. Any equal equipment offered must provide the below salient characteristics: Specific Requirements Functional Characteristics: The required STERILE COMPOUNDING ROBOT is necessary to provide safe, accurate, and timely compounding of sterile compounded products in accordance with USP 797 guidelines. The robot must be: Fully automated to ensure handsfree compounding Use gravimetric controls to provide accurate measurements during sterile compounding preparations In-process barcode scanning and image recognition capabilities to verify and record ingredients Automated labeling Maintain an ISO 14644-1 Class 5 sterile environment within the direct compounding area Must maintain a positive pressure compounding chamber Must not allow recirculation of air Compliance with current USP 797 standards Capable of performing transfers, dilutions (including QS), and reconstitutions Minimum capable dose must be 0.5ml Dose accuracy must be fully programmable according to the drug compounded Must have a >95% yield Must have a throughput of 40 preparations/hour Physical Characteristics: Filtration: HEPA Class H14 Weight: No more than 1000kg Approx. size of device: 36 x 42 x 84 (WxDxH) Clearance: 90 x 105 x 93 (WxDxH) Power: 110 VAC / 30A Networking: RJ45 Ethernet capable Fully interface with Vista Complete generic identification: Automated sterile compounding robot.
