The contractor must provide and configure an Anatomic Pathology Specimen Tracking System for VISN 15 Pathology and Laboratory Services to support end-to-end tracking of AP specimens, cassettes, and slides from accessioning through final disposition in alignment with the Federal EHR Baseline and Oracle Health. The solution must support high-volume AP workflows, telepathology/digital pathology, barcode-driven operations, and use pre-existing Oracle Health CareAware drivers and AB&T integration; custom driver or AB&T development is out of scope, and production experience with such integration in a hospital AP environment is required. Performance is required at St. Louis, Kansas City, and Marion Pathology and Laboratory Services, with the Government able to add, remove, or modify locations within scope. Leica Cerebro is identified as an approved exemplar, though offerors may propose an equivalent system with documented existing CareAware/AB&T integration and ability to support VA national standardization and configuration. The contractor must also provide software, hardware, interfaces, maintenance/support, and training, including new-user training within 30 calendar days of a COR/site request and one annual refresher/advanced training slot per site per period of performance, while the overall period of performance is defined in the contract/order and may include base and option periods.

The period of performance is defined in the contract/order and may include base and option periods, while ongoing new-user training must be delivered within 30 calendar days of a COR/site request and one annual refresher/advanced training slot per site is required.
