This project requires a turnkey design-build replacement of the public address system across the entire Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center campus in Wichita, KS, including removal of existing components, procurement, installation, programming, testing, training, and commissioning. The new system must be fully monitored, with decentralized zone control, speaker line verification, and self-health monitoring, using Biamp’s Vocia or equivalent equipment. Work will be performed on-site at the medical center, with duty hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The period of performance is 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, followed by a 2-year service period, and the contractor must correct deficiencies within 10 business days at no additional cost. Contractors must be certified installers, have local support within a 1-hour drive, and provide a 5-year manufacturer warranty.
