The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of providing the required services. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Eisenhower VA Medical Center who has a requirement for adjustable patient care beds. This includes delivery, labor, assembly, and training courses of the patient care beds to be completed by the vendor. The Government is seeking adjustable patient care beds that meet or exceed the following technical requirement: 1. The patient care bed shall have mechanical controls that allow for the adjustment of the head of the bed. 2. The patient care bed shall have mechanical controls that allow for the adjustment of the foot of the bed. 3. The patient care bed shall have mechanical controls that allow for the adjustment of the bed height. 4. The patient care bed shall have mechanical controls that allow adjustments to the mattress firmness. 5. The patient care bed shall have a remote that the patient can use for adjustments while lying in bed. 6. The patient care bed shall have a gel-infused memory foam top layer for comfort. 7. The patient care bed shall have a capacity of 1,000 lbs. 8. The mattress shall have a width of no more than 55 . 9. The mattress shall have a length of no more than 77 . 10. The patient care bed shall have a height of no more than 13 . 11. The patient care bed shall include a wipe-down cover for infection control. 12. The patient care bed shall include a head-to-foot warranty of 3 years. The NAICS Code is 339113 with a Small Business size standard of 800 Employees.
