SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is an RFI/sources sought only. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS: 561730, Landscaping Services. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this source sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide the following: ANNUAL MEDICAL GAS INSPECTION STATEMENT OF WORK STATEMENT OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and services necessary to complete inspection and testing of the Distribution Piped Medical Gas System John Cochran and Jefferson Barracks Veteran Affairs Medical Centers, St. Louis, Missouri in accordance with JCAHO(Joint Commission Accreditation Healthcare Organizations), CGA(Compressed Gas Association), NFPA(National Fire Protection Association), and USPNF(United States Pharmacopeia Convention) requirements and recommendations. WORK TO BE PERFORMED: 1. Description of Work: Provide parts, labor and travel to complete inspection and testing of Distribution Piped Medical Gas System. Annual Medical Gas Reports to be provided within 2 weeks after testing is completed to COR. Dates Required Contract Year Date Required Base October 15, 2025 Option Year 1 October 15, 2026 Option Year 2 October 15, 2027 Option Year 3 October 15, 2028 Option Year 4 October 15, 2029 SPECIAL WORK REQUIREMENTS: 1. Hours: Services shall be performed according to specifications of government Person of Contact.. The regular work hours for this facility are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (CST). Contractor shall be flexible regarding work schedules and be knowledgeable / sensitive with regards to special requirements within the government s facility. PROPERTY DAMAGE: 1. The contractor shall take all necessary precautions to prevent damage to any government property, and will notify the Person of Contact immediately if damages occur. IDENTIFICATION, PARKING, SMOKING, CELLULAR PHONE USE AND VA REGULATIONS: 1. The contractor's employees shall obtain contractor s badges from the VA Police office in Building 2. The contractor will need to acquire a badge for each worker, and ensure that the badge be worn in a visible location on the worker at all times while on the premises of the VA property. It is the responsibility of the contractor to park in the appropriate designated parking areas. Information on parking is available from the VA Police. The VA will not invalidate or make reimbursement for parking violations of the contractor under any conditions. Smoking is prohibited inside any buildings at the VA. Cellular phones and two way radios are not to be used within six feet of any medical equipment. Possession of weapons is prohibited. Enclosed containers, including tool kits, shall be subject to search. Violations of VA regulations may result in a citation answerable in the United States District Court. 3. All completed services will be confirmed and approved by Engineering Service or their designated representative. The AC Shop Foreman (COR) will be the contractor s contact at the Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center. The POC will assist and direct the contractor when scheduling inspections. All questions concerning coordination of installation activities while at medical center shall be directed to the designated COR at each location. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the brand name.
