STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT Introduction- The VA St. Louis Healthcare System (VASTLHCS) requires Thoratec Blood Pump Circulatory Support Device as a one-time purchase for the Surgical Service/Operating Room in support of our Open Heart Surgery Program. Requirements- The VASTLHCS requires 1 each of the following Thoratec medical Item: 1. Part Number 102953: PUMP CENTRIMAG BLOOD Salient Characteristics- 1. Single-use, medical grade polycarbonate (pump housing and impeller)-Material 2. 31 ml -Priming Volume 3. 10 LPM- Flow Rates 4. 5,500 RPM- Max Pump Speed 5. 3/8-in barbed inlet/outlet ports- Connectors 6. 600 mmHg- Max Operating Pressure Delivery- Delivery will be made during regular business hours 0800 through 1630 Monday through Friday. Missing or damaged product must be replaced. Items will be delivered directly to the John Cochran Division of the VA St. Louis Healthcare System located at 915 N. Grand Blvd. St. Louis MO 63106. Required Statements – The Certification & Accreditation requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
