This is a Sources Sought to determine the availability of potential sources having the skills and capabilities necessary to provide non-emergency Ambulance Ground Service for the Marion, IL VA Medical Center. All interested vendors are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought including commercial market information. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. The information provided may be used by the Department of Veterans Affairs in developing its acquisition approach, statement of work (PWS) and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), Hub zone, 8(a), Small, Small Disadvantaged, Woman Owned Small Business, FSS/GSA contract schedule holders or large business. The Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 621910 (Ambulance Services) with a size standard of $20 Million. REQUESTED INFORMATION: (1) STATEMENT OF CAPABILITY: Submit a brief description, five (5) pages or less that demonstrates how your company has the supervision, facilities, and experience to provide the services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement. (2) DOCUMENTATION: Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Important information: The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. Currently a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms is anticipated based on the Veterans Administration requirement with Public Law 109-461, Section 8127 Veterans Benefit Act and VAAR 808.002 (Class Deviation), Priorities for use of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
