Truman VA Medical, Dental Clinic has determined the need to purchase a new Dental Laser to provide more treatment options for the patients of the dental clinic. Description of Use: This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by name. All offers must work with existing equipment that has already been purchased and is currently in use at the station. Justification: The dental laser will be used by dentist to provide additional treatment options to dental patients. Without this piece of equipment, we will be unable to provide these additional treatment options for patients. The Authorization requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
