Statement of Work Equipment being ordered: Fluke Raysafe X2 Description of what the equipment being used is: The Raysafe X2 is a Testing Equipment that consists of a base unit, sensors, and computer software. There are many different sensor options that can be used for different imaging services, which use a PC software for use with X2 instruments. Using the X2 software, measurements and waveforms can be viewed on a larger display, measurements can be stored, and data can be transferred easily. Specifications: R/F Sensor: For radiography and fluoroscopy measurements, with or without a phantom between the sensor and the X-ray source. MAM Sensor: Measures all kinds of mammography measurements. DENT Sensor: Performs dental X-Ray measurements. CT Sensor: Provides an ionization chamber for measurements on CT dose applications. LIGHT Sensor: Used for illuminance measurements and luminance measurements on monitors and light boxes. SURVEY Sensor: A sensitive sensor for measuring leakage and scattered radiation, as well as other applications with low dose rate. mAs Sensor: An integrated tube current meter. Bluetooth Adaptor: Uses a port connection to allow software to automatically search for base units. Description of how the equipment being requested operates: The Raysafe X2 testing equipment operates by using a series of sensors that are compatible with the X2 View software, which is approved by TRM, to display the imaging measurements that are being detected. This data that is being collected is saved to the base unit and can then be easily viewed on a larger display. The sensors and tests being used allow for analysis of the equipment being tested so that further corrections can be made on the equipment, if necessary. Where will the equipment being requested be used: The equipment being required will be used on CT and Mammography equipment in the Truman VA. Who will be using the equipment being requested: Those using the equipment that has been requested will be Biomedical Equipment Support Specialists in the Biomedical Engineering Department.
