Please confirm the extend of the scope for building 2 is limited to only the inpatient behavior health unit. Resp: Correct in Building 2 the duct in this contract is only in the inpatient behavioral space on the 3rd Floor. Please confirm that the general storage room (#115) in building 20 is not included in the scope of this project. Resp: Correct duct in Room 115, and rooms that only have access through Room 115, is not part of this contract. Spec 23 31 00 3.2 is in regard to duct leakage testing, please confirm is this included in the scope of this project. Resp: Duct leakage testing is not a part of this contract.

COLMERY ONEIL VA MEDICAL CENTER TOPEKA, KANSAS Project # 589A5-23-102 Duct Cleaning - 2-3-C and B20 Kitchen NCO15 Contracting is asking for responsible vendors to meet the attached statement of work. This is a total set-aside for all SDVOSB vendors. The vendors must meet all evaluations factors as indicated in the solicitation document. The Statement of Work is for performance of work associated with construction documents for the project 589A5-23-102, Duct cleaning in Building 2 and 20 at the Colmery O Niel VA Medical Center, located at 2200 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66622. The contractor shall provide all services, materials, labor, supervision, safety, certification and expertise for items described in the provided Construction Documents; drawings and specifications. Work shall be phased in a manner that is not disruptive to Medical Center Operations. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment to provide duct cleaning in Building 2 and 20. CLEAN HVAC DUCTWORK The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment to provide inspection and duct cleaning in building 2, 3rd floor c-wing and building 20, 1st floor kitchen area. The period of performance is estimated to be approximately 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The principal NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the FSC is Z2DA, Repair or Alteration of Hospitals and Infirmaries, Business size of $45 Million. The Solicitation will be posted on or about August 17, 2023.
