Description of Item: The Marion VA Medical Center is looking to acquire Brand Name or Equal of the product required. This allows prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. Minimum Technical Specifications: Ergonomic design and time-saving features, an ultrasound table needs to be specifically designed for the common procedures performed, while providing for patient comfort and to ease the sonographer in motions of bending, stretching, and twisting. Table shall be designed with retractable stirrups to provide ease of positioning for pelvic exams and footboard with Trendelenburg positioning for vascular exams. The ultrasound examination table will include stirrups and three-piece design. A minimal weight limit 550 pounds and a minimal width of 28 inches examination table specifications. Table mattress covering must be a material must be durable and compatible with hospital disinfectant cleaners. Product specifications must include handrails for patient safety. Design must include an unobstructed base design compatible with patient lifting devices and include wheels for position of table. Product must be capable of Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg and Fowler s positions for use with vascular and general examination. Must have operator friendly hand or foot controls to aide technologist in table and examination. For patient safety table must be capable of lowering to at least 22 inches from the floor for transfer and raise to a height of 37.5 inches for occupational ergonometric wellbeing. Requesting replacement of ultrasound examination table equipment with additional equipment options based on an increase of female specific imaging exams. Fully Assembled upon arrival.
