The VA St. Louis Health Care System (Jefferson Barracks Division) needs to purchase two (2) Electrical pad -mounted, liquid-filled, medium-voltage transformers for buildings 18 and 53, (1 each) and 1600A Main Distribution Panel with building main breaker, and (1 each) 1600A Main Switch Bus. See below and specifications/drawings for more information. Equipment will be shipped to loading dock, building 57, #1 Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, Missouri, Veterans Health Administration. Building 18 – There is presently an issue with the load tap changer in the 480V transformer that could fail at any time. This transformer supplies primary power to this building. Transformer is also missing a temperature gauge. T-18A – 480V (EE13330), Oil-Type Transformer Building 53 – The transformer is old and outdated and needs replacement/upsizing. Criteria / Replacing: Building 53 T53 – 1000 KVA transformer with 4160 on the primary and 208 on the secondary, in accordance with Division 1 and 26 of the specifications. Building 18: T-18A – 300 KVA, Oil-Type Transformer with 4160V on the primary and 480V on the secondary, in accordance with Division 1 and 26 of the specifications. Building 51: 1600 amp, 208 volt, Main Distribution Panel with building main breaker (3 breakers, 1-400, 1-225, and 1-1200) In accordance with Division 1 and 26 of the specifications. 1600 amp Main Switch Bus, 208 volt with minimum 14 breakers ranging between 100 amp and 400 amp. (6-100, 1-125, 1-225, 4-250, and 2-400) In accordance with Division 1 and 26 of the specifications. Expected Lead time will be less than 40 weeks from approved submittal drawings.
