Scope of Work Laboratory Steam Sterilizer Objective The Marion VA Health Care System intends to procure a Steam Sterilizer for its Pathology and Laboratory Service. This document highlights the technical specifications requested by the facility. Vendors under this proposal shall provide all equipment and accessories, installation services, and project management support. Equipment Specifications 26 x26 x49 capacity Power- 480v Cycle Temps-110C-140C Energy Efficient/Water saving Auto sliding door Touch Screen programming Security access codes Programmable Cycles for pre-vacuum, gravity, liquid, leak test, waste bag, USP 660, BA3 and BA4, continuous cycle Printable cycle records Visible pressure gauges Emergency stop button Control lockout switch One-year limited warranty in parts and labor against manufacturing defects form the date of delivery System functionality Unit to be used for sterilization of heat and moisture-stable materials such as media, specimens or equipment used by Pathology and Laboratory. Delivery/Performance Information The products will be provided within 120 days from the issue of the PO The vendor shall provide all related manuals, specification sheets, instructions, and warranty information with the equipment/materials delivery. Location of Work, the equipment will be in the new lab expansion of Marion VAMC located at 2401 W. Main Street, Marion, IL 62959 Period of Performance, Length of equipment life or until deemed obsolete. Deliverables Schedule, the products will be delivered to Building 16 (Warehouse) at Marion VAMC at 2401 W. Main, Marion, IL 62959. Acceptance Criteria, A warehouse materials handler shall determine if the products are acceptable at the time of delivery.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 15 Contracting Office intends to release a solicitation for a one time buy for a Laboratory Steam Sterilizer at the Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. This contract will be a one-time award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339113(Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing), the Product and Service Code is 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies). Any offeror will be required to meet the minimum requirements as stated in the requirement statement of work included in the solicitation. The details for this requirement will be included in the Request for Quote, which will be released on or about June 14, 2023. The close date will be on or about June 24, 2023.
