SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a RFI/sources sought only. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS: 339112. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide the following: Statement Of Requirements Purpose: Evansville Healthcare Center has a requirement for brand name only Transport P8005 Stretchers . We have 12 stretchers throughout the building that are end of life and are needing replaced. Scope of Work: The Evansville Healthcare Center needs to replace our stretchers that are at end of life. New stretcher requirements: Transport Stretcher Model #P8005 700 lb. Weight Capacity 26 Deck Width at a minimum 3/4 Standard IV Pole Sockets IV Pole at head Push Handle Head End Grey Six Transport Strap Locations Pneumatic Head Locations 8 Tente Carpet Casters Conductive Caster 5th Wheel Steering Brake Pedals on all 4 sides Full Perimeter Bumpering 3 thick mattress at a minimum Meets CAL129 Firecode- Mattress color CANNOT be red. Hydraulic Pedals on both sides Head End Siderail Gap Storage Area The vendor as part of the quote will provide the following to ensure the configuration of the systems and will ensure full functionality.
