PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide the following: Bleed Control Packs consisting of: - 8 individual medium bleed control kits - 17 inches long by 9 inches wide by 6 inches high - individual medium control kits must measure 7 inches long by 5 inches wide by 2.5 inches high - The Bleed control pack must unzip with a zipper and the individual medium bleed control kits must be hook and loop affixed to the inside of the Bleed Control Pack. - The Bleed Control Pact must be red in color and state, Bleed Control Pack in bold white letters. We were approved for funds for these through the Emergency Management Performance Improvement (EMPI) Grant. These will be stationed at strategic locations across the Marion VA Medical Center to provide Patients, Staff, and Police officers emergency bleed control for mass casualties events, active threat response or any situation that bleed control is needed for life safety.
