SPS, Marion, Illinois VAMC is requesting the procurement of 3 Endoscope cabinets that have continuous airflow throughout the scope channels to help dry the scopes and to prevent bioburden growth that store the scope in a flat coiled position that works with the connection blocks that the facility currently uses with the Automatic Endoscope Reproceses (AER) must be able to store 8 to 10 scopes. Thesse cabinets will speed up the process of storing the endoscopes, will also aid in less actually touching the endoscopes further reducing the risk on contamination. Take up less floor space then the current cabinets that are on station.
