STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR WIRELESS PHONE SYSTEM VETERANS HEATH ADMINISTRATIOZ *ALL ITEMS HEREIN THAT MENTION BRAND NAME PRODUCTS MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR A LIKE OR SIMILAR ITEM* 1. INTRODUCTION This solicitation is to provide the Veterans Health Administration, Robert J. Dole VAMC with 50 additional Vocera badges to interface with the existing Vocera System for greater coverage and COVID 19 response. 2. BACKGROUND The Robert J. Dole VAMC currently uses our Vocera System to communicate with the medical team, patients and families. In order to meet the Joint Commission safety goal on alarm fatigue the Robert J. Dole VAMC wants to obtain more Vocera badges to prioritize telemetry alarms, bed alarms, call bells, STAT orders, new orders, pain reassessment, IV pump alarms and tube feeding pump alarms. The medical center wants to obtain 50 addition badges to display the alarms on the screen and allow staff to easily manage alerts. 3. SCOPE OF WORK The vendor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to provide 50 additional Vocera badges, accessories, The vendor must provide training and any special equipment that IT and or Biomedical would require to repair the equipment. The CONTRACTOR shall provide 50 phone handsets capable of wireless connection to the existing Vocera wireless badge system. All hardware and associated equipment necessary for full functionality to include extra batteries and chargers are to be included. Software, two sets of service manuals and adequate operator guides are to be provided. Phone cases with clips must be included.
