The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 15 Contracting Office intends to release a commercial solicitation, for Ambulance services for beneficiaries of the Veterans Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System in Topeka and Leavenworth, Kansas. Contractor shall provide all ALS and BLS ground ambulance services for veteran beneficiaries 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The primary intent of this contract is for prearranged ambulance transportation services, with on-call services as needed and when medical emergencies arise. Contractor is to provide ambulance service on authorization from VA and administer care to patient en-route and release patient to a responsible person at destination. This contract shall include a base year and four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 621910 (Ambulance Service), with a size standard of $16.5 million.
