The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses. Responses to this notice shall include: Company Name Address Point of Contact Phone, Fax, and Email DUNS number Cage Code Type of business, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned Small Business, SDB Must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform the work described below: The Kansas City VA Medical Center located in Kansas City, MO requires to purchase 8 security cameras including a work station with a 24 monitor that allows for monitoring the system. Additionally, this contract should include installation, training, a warranty, maintenance, software support, and programming of the CCURE 9000 Access Control and Genetec Video Management systems and related field devices. The current camera that we have in the O.R. is Siemens so these new cameras must be compatible to ensure there are no disruptions. This sources sought is for a Brand Specific product required and does not permit prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name (SIEMENS CCURE 9000). This procurement is for new OEM supplies, l equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed supplies, equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the supplies, equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. (c) The delivery of gray market items to the VA in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract. Accordingly, the VA reserves the right enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the VA s election, allowing the Vendor to replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to a VA medical facility upon discovery of such items.
