The work is to replace two nonfunctioning dock lifts at the Polk Street Loading Docks, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, 820 S. Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60612. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and supervision to remove and dispose of the existing lifts and install two new recessed dock lifts with 5,000 lb capacity, specific platform sizes, 5 HP motors, push button controls, and a 1-year minimum warranty. The work includes electrical hookups using existing conduit, leveling/securing, quality assurance checks, and demonstrating functionality to the POC. All work must be completed immediately after notice to proceed, including submittals and reviews, with normal work hours Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding Federal holidays. The contractor must comply with VA Construction Safety and Infection Control policies, have a competent supervisor on site, and use qualified electricians for electrical work.

The Department of Veterans Affairs requires the supply and installation of dock lifts at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL 60612. The contractor must provide all design, labor, materials, and supervision to remove existing lifts and install new ones. Performance must be completed within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed. The construction cost is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000.
