The vendor must supply all specimen collection and shipping materials. PJLA certification is required for the laboratory, and final test results must come from lab analysis, not field tests. Sampling in the afternoon is acceptable if it does not delay delivery or compromise the chain of custody. The required testing parameters are outlined in the ST108 standard. The web-based reporting structure must be password protected, but emails do not require encryption.
