This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information from qualified sources with special interest relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided. This Sources Sought does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Contractor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. Requirement Jesse Brown VAMC (JBVAMC) located at 820 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612-4223 is seeking interested contractors capable of providing equipment maintenance to include routine preventative maintenance, and repair services on all Environmental Management Services (EMS) equipment used for cleaning JBVAMC. The contractor must be capable of providing all necessary certified professional personnel, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and any other items to maintain and repair EMS equipment. Equipment includes but is not limited to walk-behind scrubbers, riding scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, burnishers, buffers, carpet cleaners, extractors, and floor striping machines. Refer to the attached equipment list for a full list of equipment to be included in the contract. JBVAMC is anticipating awarding a contract with a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. Option periods to be awarded at the government s discretion. Does your company have experience providing preventative maintenance, equipment maintenance, and repair services of similar size and scope in the past 5 years?
