Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25225B0010 Project: VMU Equipment Tie In Project Number: 537-23-102 Location: Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL Contractor must provide all tools, materials, components, labor, and supervision to provide and install exhaust connections to existing duct for VMU and provide final measurements to verify that new installation provides required airflow The project magnitude range is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors; size standard $19.0 Million applies. Time for completion is 77 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a: (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VetCert (Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov)) The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled be posted to Contract Opportunities found at https://sam.gov/ on or about December 19, 2024. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for January 10, 2025. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
