Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25225B0002 Project: Chilled Water from B188 to B3 Project Number: 556-23-104 Location: Captain James A. Lovell FHCC, North Chicago, IL The contractor shall provide professional services for construction of an expansion line of the chilled water supply and return from building 188 to buildings 1, 3, 48, and 5. The construction shall be conducted according to the drawings, specifications, and all other associated project documents. The project magnitude range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors; size standard $19.0 Million applies. Time for completion is 330 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a: (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VetCert (Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov)) The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled be posted to Contract Opportunities found at https://sam.gov/ on or about October 25, 2024. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for November 26, 2024. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
