This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information from qualified sources with special interest relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 332439 - Other Metal Container Manufacturing. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided. This Sources Sought does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Contractor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. Requirement The Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL., Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 12, is seeking sources for the purchase of Waste Stations (10). Salient Characteristics: Custom wrapped (see photo) Non-compacting Solar powered, sensor equipped, with no need for electrical grid. Handle and foot pedal opening capabilities. Bin shall have a replaceable plastic liner and an enclosed hopper to keep waste in and pest out. Weather resistant, electronic components temperature range -40°F to +185°F (-40°C to +85°C) Extended Life battery with insulation for optimized performance Size requirements: Bin volume (chute or open) shall be at least 50 gal (189L) Shall be at least 49.8 in height. Shall be at least 25 in width. Shall be at least 26.8 in depth. Shall Be at least 6 x 17 for the opening. This sources sought is restricted to domestic end products. To qualify as a small business seller your company must meet the requirements of 13 CFR 121.406 (b)(1)(i), (b)(1)(ii) and (b)(1)(iii). Responses must include the following information: 1. Company name, address, point of contact and email address 2. Size status and representation/s of the company (i.e., Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc.) 3. Is the company considered a small business under the NAICS code 332439? 4. Does the company manufacturer the product being offered? 5. If an authorized distributor/reseller response must include documentation from the manufacturer confirming authorization to sell the referenced items and/or products being offered. 6.
