The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for vendors with the capabilities to provide monthly maintenance services and repairs to the Biological Safety Cabinet Lab Hoods and Clean room Certification located at Edward J. Hines Jr. VA Hospital 5000 s. 5th Avenue, in Hines, IL. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, parts, test equipment, tools, and expertise necessary to maintain the equipment. The contractor shall provide the following coverage: complete parts and labor, maintenance and service, to include all components of biosafety cabinet and clean room certification. The contractor shall Provide all labor, materials, supervision, tools, and equipment, necessary to perform semi-annual certification and monthly testing services for Hines VA Medical Center Pharmacy clean rooms, as well as biological safety cabinets, clean-benches, and other similar equipment (see attachment A). Equipment tested under this contract is used for research, laboratory, and both hazardous and non-hazardous drug compounding to ISO Class 5 and USP 800 standards. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541380. All interested, responsible sources must submit a capability statement by Wednesday, July 12, 2024 to Romell.Parrott@va.gov to include the following: Company Experience in providing maintenance and repair services to referenced equipment, to include number of years and any examples of current contracts in place with government or commercial entities; Customer point of contact information for contracts listed in company experience along with a description of equipment serviced under the contract; Verification of authorization and training related to servicing referenced equipment; Number of qualified maintenance personnel employed; DUNS number, organization name, organization address, point of contact, business size under NAICS 541380, and socioeconomic status; This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified vendors and does not constitute a solicitation.
