Requirement The Edward Hines Jr. VAMC, Research Department, located at 5000 S. 5th Ave., Hines, IL 60141-3030 is seeking to purchase Deymed DuoMAG MP-Dual TMS System (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL). The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to the quoter offering the lowest prices technically acceptable quote. Unless the offeror clearly indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an "equal" product, the offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. The system and coils must allow for accurate and near total activation of the peripheral nerve to elicit maximal (nonvolitional) muscle contraction. Tasks or Requirements The system must be able to deliver paired pulses through a single stimulation coil. The system must be capable of independently controlling the parameters from each stimulator. Selection Criteria Magnetic stimulators used for non-invasive stimulation of peripheral nerves and transcranial stimulation in human subjects. The system can be assembled as a dual unit to deliver paired pulses through a single coil. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information from qualified sources with special interest relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334510 - Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. Requirement The Edward Hines Jr. VAMC, Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 12, is seeking sources for the purchase of Deymed DuoMAG MP-Dual TMS System or an equal product. Equal product must combine two stimulating units so paired pulses can be combined and modulated in time and intensity and then delivered by a single coil, giving a precise control over the stimulation. The proposed equal product must also allow two independent, coordinated, or summed pulses; and deliver pulses connecting two individual coils to deliver paired pulses to peripheral nerves (e.g., phrenic nerves) or across different cortical stimulation locations. The Government is seeking a manufacturer and/or authorized distributor/reseller capable of providing a brand name or equal product to the Deymed DuoMAG MP-Dual TMS System. This sources sought is restricted to domestic end products. In order to qualify as a small business seller your company must meet the requirements of 13 CFR 121.406 (b)(1)(i), (b)(1)(ii) and (b)(1)(iii). It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government the interested party can provide the required brand name or equal product.
