This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information from qualified sources with special interest relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 333415 Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided. This Sources Sought does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Contractor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. Sources Sought is limited to Small Businesses (SBs). Statement of Objective Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 12, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 12, VA Illiana Health Care System located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois 61832-5100 requires removal and installation of the following heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system components: Building 58 new air handler and air-cooled water chiller Building 125 - new air handler and split condensing system Building 98 new air-cooled water chiller Contractor will be responsible for all supervision, personnel, equipment, material, parts, software, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and other items necessary for the removal of the existing systems and installation of new systems. The requirement is for a turnkey installation with the Contractor providing all equipment, labor, and materials. Installation includes but is not limited to all associated mechanical, electrical and control work such as: New breakers and electrical wiring from the motor control panel to the new air handler rated for the load per NEC standards. Full integration between new air handler and existing BMS controls network to communicate with all points currently serving the existing air handler. Add additional points as required to properly operate the new air handler. Existing BMS system is Johnson Controls, contact COR for information on current BMS contractor for details/coordination. Manufacturer start-up and commissioning services on installed equipment, with manufacturer warranty after start-up. Building 58 Surgery PACU Equipment and services to be provided: Removal of existing AHU-5 Trane Climate Changer CCDB14EUEC Purchase and installation of one (1) packaged air handler and associated components/controls Brand name or equal: One (1), Trane, Performance Climate Changer Model CSAA012UA, air-handler unit Building 58 Equipment and services to be provided: Removal of existing Trane CGAM80 Purchase and installation of one (1) packaged 80 Ton air-cooled water chiller (scroll type compressor), variable capacity compressors, and associated components/controls Brand name or equal: One (1), Trane, Model CGAM 80 Ton, air-cooled chiller Building 125 Equipment and services to be provided: Removal of existing AHU-125 Trane Climate Changer CCDB316BOG and 40-Ton Trane ACCU units Purchase and installation of one (1) packaged air handler and 40-Ton ACCU associated components/controls Brand name or equal: One (1), Trane, Performance Climate Changer Model CSAA030UA, air-handler unit and One (1) Trane, 40-Ton ACCU Unit Building 98 Equipment and services to be provided: Removal of existing Trane RTAC350 Purchase and installation of one (1) packaged 350 Ton air-cooled water chiller (screw type compressor), variable capacity compressors, and associated components/controls. Brand name or equal: One (1), Trane, Model RTAF 350 Ton, air-cooled chiller Interested SB contractors capable of meeting the Statement of Objective should provide the following information in response to this Sources Sought. Include descriptive literature such as illustrations, brochures, catalogs, booklets, etc. Are the proposed end items manufactured or produced in the United States? If the company has a current federal contract, are the end items being offered available on the GSA contract? If so, what is the GSA contract number?
