Solicitation: 36C25224B0010 Project: 578-15-008: Update Wayfinding- Parking Signage Hines (CON) Location: The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital 5000 S. Fifth Avenue Hines, IL 60141 The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital has a requirement to install new parking signage on Hines campus in accordance with project statement of work (SOW), drawings and specifications thereby providing a more user-friendly environment for all patients, visitors, and employees. The new signage will provide clarity regarding designated Visitor, Patient, and Employee parking. The Scope of Work for this project includes all labor, management, materials, and equipment necessary to update wayfinding parking signage on Hines campus. The contractor will purchase and install all exterior parking signage and materials. All supplied measurements/dimensions are approximate. The Contractor must verify all measurements/dimensions and specific locations for installation of the new signage required by SOW, drawings, and specifications. The Period of Performance is Two Hundred Fifty (250) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 14 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, SOW, drawings, and specifications will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB or VOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) Certified SDVOSB/VOSB listed in the SBA certification database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ (see 13 CFR 128). The solicitation will be issued on or about July 01, 2024 with the bid opening on or about August 07, 2024. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from SAM.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The magnitude of the requirement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction; small business $45 Million size standard applies.
