The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Illinois City: Chicago Delineated Area: North Boundary: N. DuSable Lake Shore Drive South Boundary: Chicago River East Boundary: N. DuSable Lake Shore Drive West Boundary: N. Michigan Avenue Maximum Rentable Sq. Ft.: 1,277 Maximum Usable Sq. Ft. 1,277 Space Type: Medical Research Laboratory Parking Spaces (Total): 0 Full Term: 7 months Firm Term: 7 months Occupancy Required By: 12/31/2024 The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Chicago IL, that will be expiring. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Space must be handicapped accessible, (ADA compliant).
