Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25223B0031 Project: Renovate Building 111 Elevators (A, B and C Bank) Project Number: 695-22-101 Location: Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center has a requirement to Renovate Building 111 Elevators (A, B and C Bank), Project 695-22-101 on the campus of the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The work involves, but is not limited to, infection control, all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and other items designated in this contract to complete Project # 695-22-101: Renovate Building 111 Elevators (A, B and C Bank). Building 111 of the Milwaukee VA Campus has (12) Elevators that service 11 floors, four (4) in each bank (A, B, and C Bank). The construction of the project requires the upgrade and replacement of all twelve (12) elevators, phased such that only two elevators in A or C bank are down at a time in addition to one in Bank B. The project magnitude price range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238290 with a size standard $22.0 million applies. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of seven hundred and five (705) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer, this includes a 180 days project suspension due to equipment fabrication. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to Beta Sam (https://www.beta.sam.gov) on or about November 30, 2023. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for January 04, 2024. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through shall be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database.
