Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25223B0021 Project: Remodel Blood Draw Project Number: 537 21 113 Location: Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL Contractor must provide all tools, materials, components, labor, and supervision for construction/remodeling for a fully functional Blood Draw Area at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (JBVAMC) in accordance with Construction Documents. Time for completion is 447 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction), Size Standard: $45.0 million. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a: (1) SDVOSB eligible under this subpart; (2) Small business concern under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to the acquisition; and (3) Certified SDVOSB listed in the SBA certification database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ (see 13 CFR 128). No other sources will be considered. All interested parties shall have a current registration and current annual On-line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in the System Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov prior to award. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled be posted to Contract Opportunities found at https://SAM.gov on or about May 1, 2023. The bid opening is scheduled for on or about May 31, 2023. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
