PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. Solicitation: 36C25223B0015 Project: 550-22-101: Construct Campus Concrete Bench Pads & Sidewalk (CON) Location: VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) 1900 East Main Street Danville, IL 61832 VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) has a requirement to Construct Campus Concrete Bench Pads & Sidewalk in accordance with the project drawings. This project will construct concrete bench pads & sidewalk around campus. Work includes general construction, concrete work, necessary removal of existing structures and certain other items. The Period of Performance is Sixty (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 10 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB or VOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB/VOSB listed as verified in VIP database at: https://www.vetbiz.va.gov/vip/. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 13, 2023 with the bid opening on or about April 14, 2023. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from SAM.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The magnitude of the requirement is between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction; small business $39.5 Million size standard applies.
