Solicitation: 36C25223B0009 Project: 578-15-008: Update Wayfinding Signage (CON) Location: The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital 5000 S. Fifth Avenue Hines, IL 60141 The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital has a requirement to update it wayfinding signage on the Hines Campus in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. This project will install/improve interior and exterior signage such as building identifiers, parking lot identifiers to help patients, visitors and employees navigation. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition, repair and painting, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for 578-15-008: Update Wayfinding Signage as required by drawings and specifications. The Period of Performance is Three Hundred Twenty (320) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 10 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB or VOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB/VOSB listed as verified in VIP database at:Â https://www.vetbiz.va.gov/vip/. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 09, 2022 with the bid opening on or about January 10, 2023. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from SAM.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The magnitude of the requirement is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction; small business $39.5 Million size standard applies.
