Zablocki VA Medical Center has a requirement that includes the replacement of a Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) Unit, installation of a remote condensing unit, and the necessary utilities and controls for the Server Room Cooling System. The contractor shall provide supervision, labor, material, equipment, machinery, and items necessary in accordance with provided construction documentation. The Period of Performance is Two Hundred and Ten (210) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 10 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors; small business $16.5 Million size standard applies. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP database at:Â https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 8, 2022 with the bid opening on or about January 24, 2023. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from SAM.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The magnitude of the requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contractors that provide a bid in response to 36C25223B00007 need to complete VAAR 852.219-77 VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting Certificate of Compliance for Services and Construction. A signed certification must accompany the bid to be considered for award.
