Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25223B0004 Project: Construct Women s Clinic Project Number: 695-19-132 Location: Clement J. Zablocki, VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project #695-19-132 Construct Women s Clinic at the Clement J. Zablocki, VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. This renovation project in Building 111 is to renovate a vacated area of the kitchen. The new space shall support a Women s Clinic for primary care and gynecology services, two finished shell areas, VSC offices and renovation of public restrooms. The spaces surrounding the clinic will make use of the vacated kitchen space and remove old MEP systems that are no longer in use. The project will also create a corridor route from the kitchen and back of house support spaces to the B bank elevators, which are designated for inpatient transport, logistics and hospital support. The construction scope of work includes the following trades: demolition, concrete, electrical, plumbing (domestic water/sanitary drain and vent/med gas), technical (low voltage/internet/telephone/WiFi), mechanical (piping/pumps/AHUs/ductwork), patient ceiling lifts, pneumatic tube and architectural. Hazardous materials will be abated including asbestos-containing materials (floor/wall tile, plumbing/piping fitting insulation). The project magnitude range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 (General Construction); size standard $39.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 465 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a: SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP CVE-VetBiz database at: https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled be posted to Contract Opportunities found at https://beta.sam.gov/ on or about December 16th, 2022, or sooner. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for January 19, 2023. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation.
