The heater shall be fabricated in accordance with ASME code and stamped for 150 psi working pressure. The packaged water heater will be constructed with a 316-L Stainless steel tank and 316-L Stainless steel threaded openings. Heater will be mounted on a steel support skid and will have lifting lugs. Heater will be insulated with 3" fiberglass protected by an enameled metal jacket, 20-gauge thickness. One heater will be capable of 69 GPM, and the second shall be 50 GPM. Heater will be factory assembled and piped including: Salient Characteristics A. water heater package B. semi-instantaneous C. stainless steel tank D. steam heated E. electronic temperature control valve F. max dimensions 36"W X 48"L X 47.5"H G. must supply 69 GPM of 140F water with 10# of steam pressure for bldg 98; 50 GPM for bldg 102 H. must have built in thermostatic steam traps I. must have double wall coils to guard against cross contamination J. must be factory assembled and piped K. must be insulated L. must have incoming steam strainer M. must have A.S.M.E. pressure-temperature relief valve Services to be provided: Start-up and training for water heaters after they have been installed by VA staff.
