The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified: (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); or (3) Small or emerging small business firms, or (4) Other Than Small business firms, to provide an Ultrasound System for the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, IL. General Requirements: Salient Characteristics: Must have Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound Option Must have Curved Array transducer, Linear transducer and Endocavitary Transducer Must have portability for bedside procedures Must use a software-driven approach to acoustic data acquisition and image formation. For example, the ability to use up to 90% of the acoustic dataset at speeds 10 times faster than the conventional beamforming. This data set would be retained and processed by high-speed digital processing techniques and software algorithms that are different from hardware-based imaging methods.
