The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to issue Solicitation 36C25222Q0538 for Electrical Distribution Systems Maintenance at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital located in Hines, Il and Joliet Community Based Outpatient Center located in Joliet, Il. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or around May 4, 2022. The contractor shall provide all services necessary equipment, labor, & materials to perform Annual Maintenance, Emergency Restoration and Testing of the Electrical Distribution System which includes Inspecting, Cleaning, Maintenance, Restoration, Testing of Transformers, Vacuum Fault Interrupters (VFIs), Sectionalizers, Switchgear, Switches, Protective Relays, Circuit Breakers, Panels, and other electrical devices associated with the Electrical Distribution System. The VA intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract for a base year and four (4) one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210. This procurement is set aside based on an order of priority as established in 38 U.S.C. 8127.
