It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or around May 2, 2022. The contractor shall provide all services associated with Laser Safety. The contractor shall make these Laser Safety Officer services available to the VA as needed. The VA intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price contract for a seven (7) month base period. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for Laser Safety Officer Services for the following Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 12 facility: Edward Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL, and the following Community Based Outpatient Centers (CBOC): Aurora CBOC in Aurora, IL; Hoffman Estates CBOC in Hoffman Estates, IL; Joliet CBOC in Joliet, IL; Kankakee CBOC in Bourbonnais, IL; LaSalle CBOC in Puru, IL; and Oak Lawn CBOC in Oak Lawn, IL . The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
