This will be for an annual subscription but will come a free 30-day trial. The Milwaukee VA Medical Center may decide to terminate the BPA and subscription at any time before the trial period ends. Vendor engineering support is to be included in the contract. Salient Characteristics (Brand Name or Equal): Manufacturer: Parallels Product Name: Remote Application Server (RAS) Must provide seamless access to virtual applications and desktops. Must have unified management console with configuration wizards and customizable set of tools to configure Microsoft Remote Desktop Session Host and VDI. Must have auto-provisioning and auto-scaling. Must work with applications and data from any operating system with platform-specific Parallels Client for Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android, Chromebook and HTML5. Must support FIPS 140-2 encryption and multifactor authentication (MFA). Must provide Windows device management capabilities Windows 10 kiosk mode for remote clients. Virtualization Platforms: VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix Acropolis. Must have out-of-the-box load balancing that distributes traffic among remote desktop servers and gateways with resource-based distribution (user sessions, memory, and CPU). Must have High Availability mode for servers and gateways to ensure optimal up-time and performance across the organization. Must have advanced monitoring and reporting capabilities that transform real-time data into visual reports.
