Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25222B0016 Project: Renovate Electronic Security System Project Number: 537-19-125 Location: Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL Contractor must provide all tools, materials, components, labor, and supervision for construction/remodeling for a fully functional electronic security system at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (JBVAMC) and corrections in accordance with Construction Documents. Time for completion is 306 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors), Size Standard: $16.5 million. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a: (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP CVE-VetBiz database at: https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ No other sources will be considered. All interested parties shall have a current registration and current annual On-line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in the System Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov prior to award. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled be posted to Contract Opportunities found at https://SAM.gov on or about February 2, 2022. The bid opening is scheduled for on or about March 4, 2022. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
