PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. Solicitation: 36C25222B0007 Project: 537-16-102A Location: Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (JBVAMC) 820 S. Damen Ave Chicago, IL 60612 The Jesse Brown VA Medical Center has a requirement for construction and remodeling of a fully functional sprinkler system and corrections in accordance with provided construction documentation. The Period of Performance is Two Hundred and Ninety-Four (294) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 10 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors; small business $16.5 Million size standard applies. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB or VOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB/VOSB listed as verified in VIP database at:Â https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 28, 2021 with the bid opening on or about February 9, 2021. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from SAM.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The magnitude of the requirement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
