The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to solicit a Small Business set-aside for Brand Name Neuwave Ablation (Johnson & Johnson) for the Madison VAMC located in Madison, WI 53705. The Neuwave Ablation will be used to perform soft tissue neoplasm ablation procedures. This equipment will provide the Madison Cancer Treatment Center the ability to perform this Ablation procedure. This system comes with PR Technology which allows the Probes to burn from the TIP back allowing a more precise and controls Ablation zones. Other devices burn forward and cannot be used near critical structures. Additionally, NeuWave is the only Microwave provider that allows for up to three (3) probes to be utilized at once for large Synchronous Ablation. Only NeuWave probes utilize CO2 to keep them cool. Because of this we can lock them in place with a non lethal ice ball to prevent any probe migration in the patient during scans. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, 13, and 19. Contract will be firm fixed price and the corresponding NAICS Code 339112. This will be a 100% Small Business set-aside solicitation as the Non-manufacturer rule applies to this order. Please see Request for Quote (RFQ) document 36C25221Q1002 for details in the near future.
