Page 2 of 2 The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to solicit a Small Business set-aside for Brand Name Howard Medical Carts for the Madison VAMC located in Madison, WI 53705. The Howard Medical Cart is a medical cart that allows VA staff the ability to be mobile while treating patients. This cart is utilized throughout the hospital and provides advanced ergonomic features which include: Rubberized footrest on each side of the cart allows for a more relaxed stance and relieves fatigue, Open architecture at wheel base allows end user to maintain their normal walking stride, One-touch worksurface height adjustment allows for a full sit/stand range of motion. Continuity is critical as this cart allows quick repairs or substitutions if the cart malfunctions. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, 13, and 19. Contract will be firm fixed price and the corresponding NAICS Code 339112. This will be a 100% Small Business set-aside solicitation.
