Overview: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for SDVOSBs, VOSBs, or Small Businesses with the capability of performing monthly maintenance and testing on Underground Storage Tanks and Above Ground Storage Tanks of various manufacturers at the VA ILLIANA HEALTHCARE SYSTEM Contract requirements include: Overview of requirements The contractors will be certified by Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshall-(OSFM) & ABC Trained Review historical records of tank performance Maintain Hines Storage Tank Records Coordinate Storage Tank compliance and permitting efforts with OSFM Work with engineering staff to evaluate maintenance and Repair options Inspect tank system for compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations Provide formalized report on inspection and recommendations for each tank system Be responsible to maintain tank record and advise OSFM that Site complies Provide certification process guidance and ensure permits are current and displayed All interested, responsible sources must submit a capability statement by 07:00 a.m. local time, Monday April 12th, to aaron.rogers1@va.gov, to include the following information: Company experience in providing Underground and Above ground storage maintenance and test services, to include number of years of experience and any examples of current contracts in place with government or commercial entities, to include contract number if with the Department of Veterans Affairs; and Customer point of contact information for contracts listed in company experience. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified SDVOSBs/VOSBs and does not constitute a solicitation.
