Questions & Answers Q1: Can this Solicitation be set-aside for a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in considering the VA Rule of Two? A1: Market research which included a sources sought posted on contract opportunities did not support an SDVOSB set-aside. Q2: Is there a platform they are currently using for streaming? A2: Currently there is no program and/or platform being used. Q3: Do you have an approximate range of how many classes need to be taught and what the maximum number of students will be per class so I can send an accurate quote? A3: The number of available classes will be your call same for the number of students per class. We are anticipating a growing population of users. The capability will be offered to all VA employees and veterans within VISN 12. However, using data provided from a trial period of 60 days a total of 36 users signed up for a total of 138 classes. There could be a significant number more or less users. Keep in mind marketing was limited for the trial period. Marketing will increase once a contract is in place. Q4: It was unclear if the place of performance (place where the classes would be filmed from) would need to be at a VA facility listed, or if that simply would be the primary place where the classes would be viewed by patients. A4: The instructors setting can be located anywhere as long as it s professional. The classes should be capable of viewing from anywhere to include the VA facility or home of residence. Q5: Secondly, was there a Q&A from the earlier listing under the same title? If so how can i view them? Q5: There was a sources sought posted to gage interest from vendors. There has not been any Q&As posted as of yet. As questions are received from vendors Q&As will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation.
